dr JODI PAWLUSKI

Becoming a parent changes everything, but not always in the ways people expect, and rarely in ways that are clearly explained.

Many of my clients, who are used to functioning at a high level, are surprised by how disorienting and difficult this stage of life can feel. It has impacted your sleep, identity, stress levels, mental load, relationships, and added invisible demands and pressure. Much of my work begins right there, in that gap between what you thought this experience would feel like and what is actually happening in your mind, your body, your relationships, and your sense of self.

I am a neuroscientist and perinatal mental health therapist who helps mothers understand what is happening in their brains and lives during the transition to parenthood. I bring together research, clinical insight, and lived experience to support thoughtful individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the complex identity shifts in the process. I help clients make sense of what they’re feeling, build sustainable support systems, and move forward with understanding, confidence, and a deeper trust in themselves. If you’re in a season of transition, uncertainty, or overwhelm, and things aren’t lining up the way you expected, I’d be glad to support you.

I practice within Bergeseen Group, an international women's mental health practice serving clients online worldwide.
